Hi, I’m Ali.
I have always been inspired to help people take charge of their health and well-being, and I believe in approaching health from a holistic perspective. Part of my work includes developing national programs and policy for implementation of integrative health and medicine, including yoga and meditation in large healthcare systems. I was inspired to become a yoga instructor after witnessing the incredible impact yoga has had on the lives of Veterans I work with.
I have my 500-hour certification in Therapeutic Yoga from the Kripalu School of Yoga Therapy, and I am currently in training to become a yoga therapist. I also have training as a health coach as well as a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University. My passion for fitness has led me to pursue a Certification in Personal Training from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I enjoy sharing tools and practices in therapeutic yoga, personal training and health coaching and designing combinations for custom sessions.
